I gained my experience during my studies at the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts of St. Anežka Česká in Český Krumlov, and later at my alma mater, the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art. During my studies, I carried out various artistic projects, such as leading the PechaKucha Night in Pilsen or creating the Black.Byt installation for Designblok Prague 2014, which won the Editor’s Choice Award for The Best School Installation. PechaKucha gave me the opportunity to try project management, team leadership, and precise organization, skills I later used extensively in my work.

Especially during the iMucha Show project under the direction of Michal Dvořák, I not only illustrated but also led a team of illustrators. I also applied these skills when working on illustrations for an animated spot for Prague Airport, where I experienced the specifics of working with animation for the PFX Studio. Among my favorite works are book illustrations, such as for Tatana Kucharova’s book “Pokračování příště”. Additionally, I contributed illustrations to magazines like Forbes, where I had the opportunity to create several illustrated double-page spreads.

Thanks to the iMucha project, the first comic I drew, Drawman, was released, which opened doors for me to international offers for comic-related work and invitations to Comic-Con Prague as a guest, something I deeply appreciate, as I believe it is the best event for comic fans.
